Redmi mobile phones are the most trolled smartphones on the social media. Despite this, when Redmi launched its much awaited Note 5 and Note 5 Pro in the mid-range smartphone segment in India on 22nd Feb via a flash sale on Flipkart and mi.com, more than 3 Lac units went out of stock within 3 minutes which means a whooping 1 Lac+ phones/minute. The Mi LED TV 4 was also sold out within 10 seconds of its sale. Total number of TVs on sale is not yet revealed by Xiaomi.
One of the main reasons for such an incredible success of a brand like Redmi in India is because of unbelievable specifications of the phones at extremely reasonable prices.
With Redmi Note 5 available at just Rs 9,999/- and Redmi Note 5 Pro at just Rs 13,999/- and loaded with a bucket full of specifications which are in demand by users, they are bound to be one of the most sold smartphones in India.
This development has surely bothered Redmi’s competitors like Samsung, Oppo, Vivo etc. This will benefit the consumers as other brands will try to compete and will provide better specifications in less price.
The next flash sale of the Redmi Note 5 and Redmi Note 5 Pro will be held on February 28. While the next sale for Mi LED TV 4 will be held on February 27.
